"I now feel HOPEFUL, EXCITED and UNSTOPPABLE!"

Rema Strauss, Federal Way USA, 58

Before I started the HIQDA Membership Program with Zay, I was drinking uncontrollably again after a stint in rehab that only lasted about 90 days. I was feeling hopeless, like it was never going to change, that I might as well not be here and sometimes went down that deep dark road, but never took the step.

I believe I found Zay's public page and started joining in and reading the posts. Then they had the program and, after speaking with them on the phone, I joined. They were not high pressure or pushy. Just sincere, which was huge for me.

I LOVE Zay.. Their energy and their commitment to make the world a better place is evident in the amount of time and energy they put into responding to member posts and reaching out privately when they notice someone absent for a bit.  They actually pay attention to that.  I also love the workbook style. And I can do it on my own time. It really makes you think and analyze and maybe realize some things you have been holding on to and how we can change our mindset.

After starting the course with Zay, I achieved a new mindset.  While I am not currently totally Alcohol Free, I am more aware and in control and actually have less desire. I find the longer I remain in the group, look at their posts that make us think, it has helped me change my mindset. It's more now that I would "PREFER" to do something else that is important to me, things discovered in the exercises, and I am able to push forward on those things that bring me joy and energy and passion.  I have ME back. Just a more improved and weathered me!! I love life now, I am excited for the future and my success keeps breeding more success!

Since working through the program, I now feel HOPEFUL, EXCITED and unstoppable.

If I want to do something I can.. Pursue it!! Go for it. My mind and its old, rotten thoughts had soooo much power and control over me. The course helped bring out other thoughts that were able to push through. To see another way that life could be. My mental talk to myself changed slowly. I have started a lot of new things. Dancing, learning Spanish and even venturing on a new career that I have always wanted to do. I feel so empowered now that I can choose to have a glass of wine, but be content to stop there and go work on the things that bring me joy as I am aware of those things now and actively participating in them. Not sitting in my bed drinking, watching you tube videos of the things I would like to do. I am now doing them!

YES YES YES ...I would highly recommend investing in the HIQDA Membership Program with Zay Canters because it is such a different approach than rehab and AA. Their program tells me I can do things differently, not that I am powerless over something.  That works with my personality. I am sure there are many others out there like me!

"Zay’s program is the answer!"

 Jessica, Florida, USA

Before I started the HIQDA course I was very lost and frustrated. I had done AA for 16 months and stayed sober, then drank again. I felt “powerless” and awful.

I approached the HIQDA program with a lot of hope and enthusiasm because I had been really searching for other programs out there that used actual science and psychology and empowerment.

Where do I begin!?!? Zay is very warm and approachable. They have a way of helping a person to feel comfortable, validated and cared about. I also love the videos, the visual aids and the worksheets. My favorite part of the course is the webinars where Zay is right there to answer questions. It’s so wonderful to discuss such a topic that can make one feel vulnerable so openly with them. They have a tremendous level of sincerity.

After starting the course with Zay I realized how much power I really do have. I also realized how much we can believe the stories we and others tell us that simply aren’t true. Here I go again with the phrase “empowerment.” I feel much more in control. I feel empowered. And I feel comfortable reaching out if I need help. In fact, I have gone to a couple AA meetings and I’ll just say, I’m beyond grateful for the HIQDA program! In my opinion the HIQDA program is very positive I’m contrast.

Since working through the course I now feel optimistic that I will be able to change my life and my habits.

I would highly recommend Zay’s HIQDA program to anyone who is battling addiction, feels lost and hopeless. I would also recommend it to anyone who is being told “you’re powerless and diseased, go to more meetings, you didn’t do it right, you’re sick sick sick.”

This is simply not true. That program [AA] was created in 1935. While I respect the people who created it, as a healthcare professional I am ASTOUNDED it is the ONLY treatment prescribed that when the treatment doesn’t work, the recommendation is more of the same treatment. I also find it incredibly discouraging at least in my country, that this (AA) is court mandated. We are a country founded on separation of church and state.

I’d like to see Zay’s programs tested and used in clinical trials with patients after they are cleared from the Delerium tremons part of recovery/cessation. I would like to see something with more efficacy than at 2.5% success rate after five years be applied. I believe in this modern technological era and culture we NEED a program that aligns with the times we are living in. Zay’s program is the answer."

"A holistic view of giving up alcohol!"

Anonymous, Perth, Australia

[Before starting the HIQDA online course] alcohol had taken over my life. I had stopped drinking a few times before on sheer willpower but had no idea how to change the way I thought about alcohol.

[I chose to do this course with Zay] because they are not an "authority type figure, they're a young / vibrant engaging person has has real world experience. After learning more about them, there were similarities in my own experiences that were relatable, Zay doesn't preach or keep saying what's wrong with you or judge harshly if you don't get it 100% right. The focus and delivery is always positive.

[As a result of the course] I'm understanding the reasons behind why I drink. There are some moments where I really learned a lot about myself and how to make different decisions in life. Its helped me understand myself better. The improvement is not just giving up alcohol but realising Im also learning how to make better choices in other aspects of my life.

[I would] Absolutely [recommend this online program to others]. I would suggest anyone who wants to take a more holistic view of giving up alcohol and not be treated like you're a failure instead she teaches how to grow from these experiences not have them define you.

"Feeling more confident!"

Rachel, 42

[Before I started the HIQDA online course] I was in a really bad spot and I was going downhill fast. My drinking was causing me so many emotional troubles. I was very depressed and very unhappy with who i saw in the mirror. I was desperate to find something to help me. I have had a few bad days since I started this course, but I always learn from it and try and change something and move forward and keep learning.

I chose this course because it pretty much fell in my lap and I knew it was what I needed to do for myself to quit drinking and change my thinking about life and drinking alcohol.

The thing I like most [about the course] is that I can go at my own pace because life is really busy as a single parent. I can go back and catch up when I have time. It will always be here for me to go back to and I don’t miss things ever. I also like to print out all the sheets so I have them in front of me to work on and be able to go back to when needed.

[As a result of the course] I've really begun to notice myself thinking through so many things now. I use the methods I’ve learned to really think through my problems . I find myself thinking, “which method can get me through this crisis or problem ?” It’s nice to have tools. I am not saying I have been perfect and 100% successful each time but I am still learning and really working on applying all this knowledge to my life.

I am definitely feeling more confident and my self esteem is better and I am beginning to like who I see every day. I have been able to stand up for myself with a few people who tend to feel they have too much power in my life. I have taken control over me again. It’s a good feeling!!

I would highly recommend this course. It’s very positive and the group is so very supportive and it’s awesome to have so many people cheering you to make a better life for yourself.

"It's changed my thought process and my understanding of myself for the better."

Amy, Haltwhistle, 35

Before I joined the HIQDA group the amount I drank had increased and was still increasing. I drank to cope with anxiety and stress. I thought my life was fine and my drinking was normal. I started to realise I may have a problem but I was reluctant to face it. I tried a few other groups but I found them very busy and unsupportive. HIQDA was so supportive and non judgemental I finally had the courage to face my drinking. I had a safe place to seek help and finally started to make a change in how I lived my life.

I approached HIQDA and Zay Canters because of how supportive the group was. I found a place were I was encouraged to see the positives on my life and accept that drinking was not one of those positives.

I really liked Zay Canters outlook on life she encourages you to find three positives of each day and celebrate them. I found I was noticing more positive and moving away from the negatives. I started to see that drinking or the events linked to drinking were never one of my three positives, I no longer felt that I needed or wanted to drink. I also loved Zay's insight, she could unravel my thinking and break down by preconceptions and the barriers I myself had created. I started to see things in a whole new light, my life was improving and I was starting to achieve things I never felt possible. I not only stopped drinking but started to change my life for the better and for the first time this was not a daunting prospect.

After being in HIQDA group and getting coaching from Zay, I had the confidence and self belief to make dramatic changes in my life. I pushed ahead with plans to start my own business, I asked my husband to change jobs so we as a family had more support, I stopped drinking, I started to create real time for myself, and I moved forward in creating the future I always wanted for myself that before I felt was impossible to achieve. For me the most important thing I learned was to see my weaknesses and failings as another aspect of myself that was normal and healthy and a part of self growth. I couldn't believe how much I achieved not just for myself but for my family and in only four months.

Since working with Zay I feel more confident, I know that I don't need to be in control and that when I let go I allow not only myself but others to grow too, I'm optimistic and excited about the future, I feel calmer and more centered, and I know myself better than I ever have. I now respect myself and know that I can achieve anything as long as I remain positive, accepting and compassionate of myself.

I would highly recommend Zay Canter's coaching to anybody who wants to quit drinking and who wants to achieve something that just feels too daunting. You have to be ready to look into yourself but it's so enlightening. I'm healthier, calmer, more focused, organised, and able to forgive myself than I was a year ago. I constantly think back to my coaching sessions to see where I need to go next, and work out if there's anything I've missed, or not accepted or interpreted the right way. It's changed my thought process and my understanding of myself for the better.

Wanna take back control of your life?

The journey starts here...

"I 100% recommend investing in coaching with Zay Canters to anyone who wants to take their life to the next level."

Macci Rosado, Age 36, from Revere, Mass USA

Before I joined the HIQDA FB Group, I was feeling extremely anxious and using alcohol as a way to "relax" and escape my reality.  The job that I had for the past 13 years was changing along with some other big changes in my life.  I had recently gotten engaged as well as dealing with chronic back pain.  With so much happening in my life, on the weekends I would turn to alcohol to unwind.

I approached the HIQDA group because at least a few times throughout the year, I would end up with the worst hangovers that lasted for more than 12 hours each time.  Feeling fed up I knew something needed to change on my part and it was time to take accountability for my actions.

A couple things I really liked about Zay is her caring nature along with her assertiveness.  During my one on one session with Zay, she made me feel heard, validated and understood while conveying a sense of hope that change is possible and can happen quickly if you understand why you actually want to change.  She asked me questions that really helped be visualize what my ideal life looks like as well as assisted in creating a plan of action to achieve my short term and long term goals.

After being in the group and getting coaching with Zay, I started to realize that I was a social drinker.  Meaning, I thought that in order for people to like me, I needed to drink alcohol to really open up and be funny, lovable and cool in the eyes of those around me.  What I realized is that I was already all those things and alcohol actually brought out a version of me that in hindsight was non of the above.  Some of the greatest achievements I made during this time was learning how to be myself in all situations.  This ranged from staying sober during many business trips, my bachelorette, wedding and honeymoon (at an all inclusive hotel)!

Since working with Zay, I finally can trust myself to make decisions that are right for me rather than making mistakes because of peer pressure. This is the ultimate gift I could have given myself because I no longer wake up with a sense of regret, disgust, guilt or physically feeling ill.  I also realized that the weekends are really long when I'm not hungover giving me time to explore and try different things that I may not have had the energy to do while hungover.

I 100% recommend investing in coaching with Zay Canters to anyone who wants to take their life to the next level.  Sometimes years and years of bad choices can effect your self confidence and morale.  Knowing that Zay will be there to help guide you in reprogramming your thoughts which will effect your actions and eventually the quality of your life is so amazing!  Thank you Zay for your guidance, ear and loving nature!  You are the best!
